Include us in the long list of sites that will be running a March Madness bracket challenge. How could we not? We are about as sports degenerate as they come. In typical Bacon Sports fashion we won’t be running just a standard bracket challenge. We want to spice it up a bit and give you what you really want, extra credit for picking upsets. We want to reward you for having the balls (or lady balls) to pick the under dogs and not go straight chalk like most people do. I present to you our first ever “Bacontology Upset Special Bracket Challenge”.
Here’s how it works. If you pick a higher seed to beat a lower seed you get the difference between their seeds in bonus points. For example, if you take a 10 seed to beat a 7 seed then you’d receive 3 bonus points. Simple as that.
We are teaming up with our friends at Wrigleyville Sports to offer up prizes for the top four finishers as well as last place. As the resident Pirates fan it sure would have been nice had I received a gift basket or something after finishing in the cellar all those times. The best thing is that this bracket challenge is free so you have nothing to lose.
