Malik Sealy Pacers Upper Deck Card

This is a 1993 Fleer Ultra Rookie Malik Sealy card that I pulled out of my box of commons. My favorite thing about Malik Sealy is that during his rookie year he left his playbook on an airplane and it ended up in the hands of radio host Don Imus. If I were to find this playbook there’s no chance that I’d be handing it over to some loser shock jock. That thing is like gold to a sports degenerate like myself. How someone leaves one of their most important possessions on an airplane I have no clue. Lets just be thankful that Sealy only left his playbook instead of a child.

Like many other athletes being an NBA player and making millions of dollars was just not enough. Sealy also tried his hand at acting as he was in Whoopie Goldberg’s movie Eddie. Not surprising he played a basketball player in that movie.

Sealy’s career was unfortunately cut short as he was hit by a drunk driver in a car accident and died. At the time he was on the Timberwolves and in his honor the Timbies retired his #2.
