Super middleweight Marvin Jones dropped a boxing match and his phone last week. Jones was knocked out by Ramon Luis Nicholas but his cellular device was the one to hit the canvas first.

In todays day and age, everybody is attached to their cell phone, but to bring it with you in the ring to your pro boxing fight is a step too far.

Curious as to what his reasoning was to having it on him. Perhaps searching Google to see various strategies to win a boxing match since his record is 2-5. Maybe asking Siri, “Why am I such a horrible boxer?” He could even be live tweeting his butt kicking or texting his side piece saying, “Hey looks like I am going to lose again I’ll be home early.”

All plausible explanations as to why he had it on him.

The exchange with the ref and Jones is also quite hilarious. The ref picks up the phone and glances at Jones with the “Are you kidding me?” type face. Then it seems Jones is either apologizing or begging for his phone back as he walks with the ref towards the rope.

This is definitely Flag It Tag It material.
