Name this Dr Pepper Football Commercial Team

dr-pepper-tv-jersey

We just started a new jersey category called #tvjersey where we capture the best generic and random jerseys seen on TV and in commercials.

In this Dr Pepper football commercial, an Erin Andrews wannabe with a name that instantly makes me think of Terrell Owens is reporting from the sidelines of a team that looks like a combination of Alabama and Minnesota. When it comes to generic TV jerseys, Dr Pepper is doing it right as the team colors are the same as their tasty multi-flavored drink.

What they are missing, however, is a team name. The first thing that I thought of was the Dr Pepper Fizz. It’s not the best name for a college or pro team, but would totally crush in the Arena League. When The Fizz score the fans could go do a crazy fizz dance that looks like a combination of a seizure and one of those inflatable dancing men that you see outside car dealerships.

I want to hear from you. What do you think the team name should be for this Dr Pepper #tvjersey team? Put your thoughts in the comments or hit us up on Twitter @BaconSports.
