pga championship best ball challengeAnother year has gone by without the almighty Tiger Woods winning a Major. Jason Dufner was a pinseeker all week and took home his first Major. Once again our Best Ball Challenge came down to the wire as “Sgramke” defeated “Hailing from Bacon, IL” by one stroke. “Sgramke” is the winner of a Bacon Sports Tecmo Bowl t-shirt and “Hailing from Bacon, IL” wins two Canadian Bacon Punts on Third Down koozies. Both winners need to email boom@baconsports.com and send us their addresses so that we can send over your prizes.

As for the overall winner, which was scores from all four of the Majors combined, it came down to the PGA Championship and our friend Earl from TotalSportsBlog.com took home the crown by 8 strokes. His total of -141 finished in the 98.3 percentile. Ball so hard my friend. Finishing in second with a score of -133 was yours truly and my boy Marv D finished one stroke behind with a -132. Earl wins one of our coveted Jim Nantz inspired Hello Friends t-shirts.

Don’t miss out on the various contests and fantasy games that we run during the year BY JOINING OUR EMAIL LIST. We know that you don’t want to receive boatloads of emails from us and quite frankly we don’t have the time to send you tons of emails. That’s why we’ll only send you stuff when it’s worth it. We want to help make your sports rooting experience better!
