If you could have any sports announcer commentate your life who would you choose? Rob Cressy brings on Bacon Sports writer Tom Hamm to break down the field, dish about their Top 3 sports announcers, plus the pro’s and con’s of having Gus Johnson commentate your life.

This podcast originated as a poll question on Twitter and got a tremendous response thanks to our friends at Awful Announcing giving it a retweet. Because Twitter polls are limited to just four choices we had to go next level on this by shooting a podcast to give all of the sports announcers their proper respect.

There was much love coming in for Verne Lundquist, Mike Breen, Bill Walton, and Kevin Harlan as well as some legends (Vin Scully, Harry Caray) plus tons of write in votes for local sports announcers.

I want to hear from you. Who would be your choice for sports announcer that would commentate your life? Drop me a line on Twitter @BaconSports or on Snapchat @baconsports.
