Ask and you shall receive. We got some feedback that people wanted to see more of the Terribly Awesome Baseball Cards that we used to post so they are back in the rotation. Baseball isn’t in season so we are going to feature Basketball cards, which are equally Terribly Awesome.
Say hello to Orlando Magic forward Jeff Turner, who is giving us a super white action shot that is slow even for white guy standards. No one is gonna look at this card and think that Jeff Turner just did a little Tim Hardaway killer crossover followed by drive to the hole. This looks like a late in the shot clock situation where Turner did a pick and roll and amazingly got the ball because Del Curry was now guarding him so he went up strong-ish to the hoop.
The best part about this card is the shoes that Jeff Turner is wearing, black Reebok pumps. Only one of the 5 greatest shoes ever. Reebok pumps were on the same level of cool points as having pubes when you were 12.
Did you know…that Jeff Turner was selected one pick after John Stockton in the 1984 NBA Draft? He went 17th overall to the Nets.
