On the heels of Ohio State’s impressive four turnover, 42-20 beating of the Oregon Ducks in the National Championship game, Andy Dalton likes the new blueprint for what it takes to win a big game.

“All you’ve gotta do is turn the ball over four times and you’ll win. My problem has been that I haven’t been turning the ball over enough in the playoffs.”

In his four NFL playoff appearances, Dalton has never turned the ball over more than three times in a game, one short of the number the Buckeyes showed is needed to win a playoff game.

“Seeing the way Cardale Jones fumbled the ball in his own zone without even being touched really inspired me. I know I can make similar plays that will help me get to that magic number of four turnovers and lead my team to victory.”

It’s optimism like this that should give Bengals fans real excitement about the 2015 season.
