This weekend is a huge one for me for two reasons. First, it is the Super Bowl for jersey wearers and Hoopsters alike as Lollapalooza kicks off three glorious days in Chicago. You can expect that I’ll be repping my jerseys hard (today I’m going with an Ed O’Bannon New Jersey Nets) and that I’ll find some great gems to show you. Second, for the first time in at least 20 years the Pirates and Reds are playing a series that would actually be deemed important. The Reds are atop the NL Central with the Bucos lurking just 3.5 games behind. To honor both of these momentis occasions I thought that I’d give you a video that combines both sports and music. Here is Reds starter Bronson Arroyo playing guitar and singing a horrendous song called “Reds Hooded Sweatshirt”. I don’t recommend that you listen to the entire thing as your ears might start to bleed. This is another great example of why athletes should stick to playing ball and not trying to be the next John Mayer.
