nancy-kerrigan-tonya-harding-specialAfter watching the Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding special on NBC right before the Olympic Closing Ceremonies, there was too much unintentional comedy for me to not go back and screencap the awesomeness with the TV on mute (I’ve had my fill of figure skating talk for the next four years). When I watched the special I didn’t see a story about a white trash figure skater going all Hogan at Bash at the Beach on her rival. Instead I saw Mary Carillo as a host who gave off some of the most smug and figureheadish facial expressions, some unbelievable early 90’s haircuts and references, and a closer look into the people who actually care about figure skating (which is a very interesting and peculiar demographic).

Shout out to NBC on their work on this. It was one of the better comedy shows that I’ve seen recently. Also shout out to Dan Patrick. Looking forward to having him back in the Mancave this week.
