I captured this Pirates Charisma jersey after the Buccos clinched in Chicago last week. Charisma is a term that I’d expect to hear being talked about for a white running back like Danny Woodhead or a point guard like Greg Paulus. It’s meant to be a compliment but really it’s a dig at them for not being as good as everyone else. It’s just like Rex Chapman in the slam dunk contest. He’d do fancy behind the back passes to set up his dunk to mask the fact that he really just did a below average reverse slam. Regardless, this yinzer opted to show his charisma by putting it on the back of his Pirates jersey instead of flaunting it with his spirit fingers.
