I don’t believe there is a player that has even been more loved and hated in Pittsburgh than Kordell Stewart. Everyone loved him when he was Slash and especially loved him in 2001 when he lead the Steelers to a 13-3 record en route to his only Pro Bowl. The following year he was supplanted by none other than Touchdown Tommy Maddux after a few games when he decided to throw into double coverage numerous times which resulted in some pretty bad INT’s. After that he was done as a Steeler and yinzers haven’t stopped talking about him since.
