Part 3 – These poor studs have never made it to the World Series, name them:
- Future hall of famer, threw only the second no-hitter in postseason history by blanking the Reds in 2010.
- With over 4000 hits to his name in two countries and a season with 116 wins, this player has never been to the World Series.
- The best left handed pitcher in baseball from 2004-2008, never made it to the World Series with the Minnesota Twins or New York Mets.
- Possibly a Bartman foul ball away from making the series with the Cubs, this Milwaukee Brewer third baseman doesn’t appear to be getting to the World Series anytime soon.
- Shortstop that signed a 6 year, $106 deal then got traded to a preseason favorite AL East team, only to come in last place. Just like the year before with the Miami Marlins.
Part 4 – These players are the opposite of the last section. Name the player that has played on each of the teams in the playoffs:
- Mustached Pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins that played for 18 years starting in 1977.
- Intimidating Pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays who’s nickname is Smoke.
- Gritty third baseman for New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and the Florida Marlins.
Part 5 – Bonus time. 2 Questions. Super hard. Good luck:
- Which four teams made the MLB playoffs in the American League in 2003?
