Our New Favorite Basketball Player: God’s Gift Achiuwa

By November 8, 2011 One Comment

Just when you think that you’ve heard the most random and best name in sports someone new comes around to impress you. I introduce you to St. John’s power forward God’s Gift Achiuwa. He is a 6’9″ JUCO transfer that put in 17 points last night as he helped St. John’s overcome a sluggish start vs. William & Mary. God’s Gift is one of six children. His siblings names are: Promise, God’s Will, Precious, Grace, and Peace (no really, that’s their names). We’ll be keeping tabs on God’s Gift this year and give you updates when he does something awesome or bad.

Special thanks to Ken Schulman for the heads up on God’s Gift. Ken grew up a Browns fan…which was definitely not a gift from God.¬†
