Random athletes are awesome because there’s so many of them and they rarely get talked about. It doesn’t take much knowledge to be able to talk about Kobe Bryant but there’s something fantastic about hearing someone drop a John Vander Wal reference. The reason is because it takes actual sports knowledge to know who that is and for the sports degenerate like me I find it hilarious. At our Rock a Jersey party on Saturday we asked everyone to write down the name of a random athlete on their name tag. We gave no other instructions and said be as creative as you’d like. Below are the random athletes names that some of the people came up with.
