At the Bacon, Sports & Beer Celebration we told people to wear their best or most random jersey or sports attire. True to form, you Baconators went hard in the paint and beyond impressed us. For the guy and girl that repped the hardest we awarded them the Bacon Babe and Bacon Bro of the Celebration. Not only do we acknowledge them on the site but they also receive a custom Chicago Cubs jersey that says “Bacon Babe #1” or “Bacon Bro #1” on the back (thanks to our sponsor Wrigleyville Sports). Here’s a look at the two winners.
My friend and loyal Cleveland Browns fan Kevin Wagner shows how it’s done yet again by turning this otherwise worthless Trent Richardson Cleveland Browns jersey into a 2014 First Round Pick jersey. Considering that Trent Richardson was just benched for Donald Brown this week I think it’s safe to say that the Browns got the best of this deal and Kevin can wear this jersey proudly-ish.
This is the second time that Kevin has won the Bacon Bro award. At our Rock a Jersey Party earlier in the year he wore an autographed Jimmy Chitwood Hickory jersey from Hoosiers.
How do you get our attention and win the Bacon Babe of the Celebration award? By rocking a Bo Jackson Touchdown Tecmo Bowl t-shirt, that’s how. Considering we made our own custom Bacon Sports Tecmo Bowl shirts this was a no brainer. Tecmo Bowl is the best sports video game ever and Bo Jackson is the single greatest player in the history of sports video games. Kudos to the creator of the sports blog Sports and Boobs for rocking this.
