About Bacon Sports:
We are a new media start-up working out of an incubator in River North (Chicago) that combines two of the greatest things on earth: bacon and sports (yes, this is real). We used to work 9 to 5 jobs that we didn’t love so we decided to start a business around what we are most passionate about. At our core we are entrepreneur’s that love sports, having fun, creating awesomeness, and being unique. We are in the process of building Bacon Sports into a million dollar brand as we are currently creating apparel, putting on events, as well as running a sports comedy website.

Internship Description:
Do you love sports? Are you addicted to Facebook? Do you Tweet a bit too much? What about bacon? How about humor? Are you up on all the videos about to go viral on YouTube? Want to turn your passion into an internship? Need some class credits? Bacon Sports is seeking one intern who is Social Media savvy and has a passion for sports, humor, bacon, or a combination of all.

Our interns will have the opportunity to help our site consolidate and implement new social media strategies. Screw busywork. Interns work side by side with our team, participating in projects from the initial creative brainstorm through to their execution. You’ll manage social media accounts, help our site implement new strategies while remaining on-brand, write articles, post content, and add to our company’s digital platform.
